![]() It happens, but very rarely, and yeah, on both systems. ![]() After 2 phases it may lagged, and you will need restart your system. But sometimes (I don't know why) this game may be crashed. You can install the game on your system and it will be work faster and better. X360 version looks better than PS3 version. It's a good project and great remake, I think you must try it at least once. But bugs and other flaws are prevent me from rating above 7. Refereces are great - horror movies and Lovecraft's stories that added with fan love - from horror fans to horror fans. It's bad that's we will never see the second part of this game. West is a **** and why he kidnapped Jen, and how the Mask found Rick. In the dark corners it looks very beautiful, but in the open air it ****. ![]() But last levels of the game looks bad - the lighting is awful. Jim Cummings as Terror Mask is incredible! (Winnie-the-Pooh **** you all the time - what could be better?)įighting mechanics are great - beating and slashing are really enjoyable, and splatterkills are beautiful, but them not enough. I played it much times on PS3 and X360, and 100% completed this on both platforms. Seriously.the loading times are a killer.I mean, this game is awesome. Some really cheap deaths (wouldn't be such a problem if it were not for the loading times). Contains the arcade version of the original Splatterhouse as well as Splatterhouse 2 and Splatterhouse 3, which were exclusive to the Mega Drive and extremely hard to come by. Aside from that, you'll have an absolute ton of fun with Splatterhouse. This creates very, very long loading times that will REALLY drive you mad. The biggest problem lies with the fact that the game does not install to your PS3, but merely loads off the Blu Ray disc. The game still feels rushed and unfinished. Bottle Rocket Games was fired (and rendered defunct as a result) by Namco around early 2009, and it took Namco's in-house team nearly a year and a half to fill in the rest. It's no secret that the game had a troubled production. And a lot of Rick abilities are similar to that of Alex Mercer from Prototype. very similar to that of Batman: Arkham Asylum, though nowhere near as polished. ![]() Splatterhouse is probably the bloodiest game of all time and is a great beat-em-up, but it does begin to wither by your third play-through. Fortunately there IS a lot more to enjoy. There's plenty of splatter, and plenty of house, so, if nothing else, it certainly lives up to the title. Upon donning the mask, Rick is not transformed into a green-faced party animal in a yellow suit, but a muscle-bound raging hulk ready to take on any monsters the West Mansion has to offer. A mask topples out of a nearby sarcophagus, it speaks to him, promising an extension to his life, and, more importantly, revenge. His girlfriend Jennifer has been kidnapped (the plot of every beat-em-up ever) by the maniacal Doctor West. Nerdy, weakling college student Rick Taylor lies dying on the floor in the lobby of the massive West Mansion.
